The foundation of the company was laid by Mr Balakrishnan Jaganathan in the year 1979.
His diligent efforts and profound knowledge led the company from a spare dealer enterprise to a multi dimensional, giant business house with a strong market presence internationally.
Though our company was formulated to deal in the production of textile machinery, we later diversified our interest to undertaking turnkey projects and purchase of used textile machinery.
Today our warehouse can boast of holding a capacity of the latest machinery that no one in India and very few overseas are stocked with.
Our relationship with both our buyer and seller is strengthened by the commitment we deliver in the transaction of the financials and the after sale services.
Our company name is on the priority list of every textile machinery seller across India for the simple reason that we evaluate their product right and do justice to their investment.
Our sales are made not just in the Indian subcontinent but across the globe with a number of more than 20 countries till date.

AT THE HELM
Guided by the principles and vested with the knowledge acquired from the founder of the company – Mr Balakrishnan Jaganathan is his successor Mr Jayavardhan (Thambu).
He is the catalyst behind the expansion of the company worldwide. It is under his magnanimous leadership that the company has overcome multiple challenges, and emerged stronger.
His belief in personally interacting with every single client of his, whether big or small, for a purpose of just a spare part or huge turnkey project, has built the repute of the company as one of the most trustworthy companies in this business.

Right from the year 1998 to till date, It is under his headship that Star Engineering has seen a remarkable increase across all parameters of business performance – market capitalization, consolidated turnover and net worth. His experience, proficiency and technical knowledge are a boon to the company.
It is his effort that has led the company to spread its wings to establish a nationwide network along with overseas office in Bangladesh, Srilanka, Pakistan and the head office being in Coimbatore, India.
